Music That Makes Community (MMC) will lead singing, community building, and learning paperless song-leading skills at the beautiful and historic Geneva Point Center on Lake Winnipesaukee. We hope for clergy to come away with a shared sense of mission among our dioceses and skills to support congregational music and singing as a way of building the spirit and mission of the Church.
Though we encourage you to attend the entire retreat, most MMC workshops will be held on Monday, Oct. 7, to allow for single-day attendance. An abbreviated agenda follows for planning purposes:
Sunday, Oct. 6: Arrive between 4 and 5 p.m., dinner, community singing led by MMC
Monday, Oct. 7: 8:45 a.m. start for single-day registrants; worship, MMC programming and recreational time
Tuesday, Oct. 8: Time together with our bishops, Holy Eucharist, depart after lunch
Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis on receipt of registration and payment, and is due by Sept. 6.
