The Archives of the Episcopal Diocese of New Hampshire
The Diocesan Archives is the official repository for the permanent records of the Diocese, containing a wealth of historical and official documents. The Archives of the Episcopal Diocese of New Hampshire is located ‘down under’ in the basement area of the Diocesan House, 63 Green Street, Concord, New Hampshire. Two secure, temperature- controlled vaults contain official records and acts of your Bishops, beginning with Alexander Viets Griswold, Bishop of the Eastern Diocese, 1811-1843.
Duties of the Registrar include collecting and preserving published journals, papers, reports, pamphlets, and other documents relating to the history of the Church in this Diocese. The Diocesan Archives does not maintain the records of active parishes. Click Here - Parish Archives Guidelines 2013
